That story about the replacement student linesmen doing a game at Maine
this year was interesting.  It reminded me of several years ago, when there
was a similar problem for a LSSU-MSU game in East Lansing, but that time the
linesmen(or perhaps linesman, I can't remember) just didn't show.  The
solution then was to split the linemen's duties between the backup goalies
from MSU and LSSU.  The LSSU goalie in question was Joey Shawnan, a Soo
resident who did color commentary on LSSU hockey radio broacasts after
graduating.  Does anyone remember more details of this game?  I only heard
it over the radio and it was several years ago (about '86 I think).  Similar
