Kelly Fairchild had an assist on all five Badger goals, giving him 7 pts
for the weekend. Jason Zent had two power-play goals and was close to a hat
trick several times.

This was Wisconsin's last game at the Broadmoor World arena.  WI wins the
season series, 3-1.
 
Refs for the weekend series were Buzzy Christiansen and "Brutal" Bob Ames.
On a particularly bad call (against the Tigers) during the friday game, the
Wisconsin commentator exclaimed "That was a BRUTAL call, just brutal."  The
other commentator laughed knowingly....  I think both commentators knew
full well what his knickname was...
 
Everyone in the WCHA title race splits this weekend, except for Minnesota,
who took 3 of 4 points.
