Someone correct me if I'm wrong (nothing new there), but since the penalty
was imposed during the tournament, wouldn't the DQ carryover to the next
NCAA tournament game?

I didn't see this reported anywhere, but since Maiser's DQ occurred in
the last game of BU's season, he's going to have to serve the one-game
suspension in BU's first non-exhibition game next year. Rule 4-5:
c. Progressive game-disqualification penalties shall carry over to the
next season for players with remaining eligibility.
This assumes that this is Maiser's first DQ of the season.
