Subject: UAH 6 - Bemidji State 4 on 12/3/99
 
UAH didn't miss their senior captain Jay Woodcroft who was at his Rhodes
Scholarship interview in Ontario.  His replacement, Freshman Mike Funk,
scored his first goal of his collegiate career 28 seconds into the game.  He
then went on to score the rest of his hat trick in the 3rd period to lead the
chargers to a 6-4 CHA conference victory at Bemidji.  UAH scored two in the
first, but Bemidji tied it up in the second, each with one power play goal.
UAH took the lead again in the third, then Bemidji scored twice to take the
lead 4 -3.  UAH came back to take the lead 5-4 and then scored an empty
netter with less than a minute to play to make it 6 -4.  Steve Briere was in
goal for UAH, while veteran Pavlatos was in net for Bemidji.  Same teams
tomorrow at Bemidji. Bob Bergman
