and 5 assists), while the line of Richard, Torey Lomenda, and Steve
Kashian netted 18 points (7-11) to lead the Polar Bears to a 12-2 win
over host Norwich.
The only other person to score seven points in a game in Bowdoin hockey
history is Newt Stowell (4 goals and 3 assists) against MIT on January 18,
1960.
Another note on Bowdoin hockey, the Polar Bears win at Hamilton on
January 24 was the 150th victory in Coach Terry Meagher's tenure at Bowdoin.
His record as Bowdoin coach currently stands at 153-66-7. He is second on
the all-time Bowdoin victory list behind Sidney Watson, who in 24 seasons
compiled a 323-210-11 record.
