You're not going to see the MAAC get auto-bids unless the committee is
expanded to 16 teams.
Jack McDonald (Quinnipiac AD) is pretty certain of this himself, and is
sure to be lobbying to get the tournament expanded to 16 once the MAAC
begins.
This would need an exemption from the NCAA, something that men's hockey
already has for 12 teams.
