ECAC Player of the Week
Samantha Holmes (New Hampshire)
Sophomore, Forward (Mississauga, Ontario)
Led New Hampshire to a win with two goals in the battle of the
unbeatens as the Wildcats stayed perfect in league play with a 4-0 victory
over Northeastern. Holmes also added two goals and an assist in a 6-3 win
over Harvard.
ECAC Rookie of the Week
Lisa Meyers (Yale)
Forward (Skokie, Illinois))
Tallied five goals and two assists in Yale's two wins last week.
The Bulldogs posted their first league win since the 1994-95 season with a
5-3 win over Providence. Meyers scored had a hat trick and two assists in
a 7-1 win over Wesleyan and added goals in both league games, the win over
Providence and a 4-1 loss to Brown.
ECAC/Heaton Goaltender of the Week
Alicia Roberts (New Hampshire)
Sophomore (North Muskegon, Michigan)
Posted a 4-0 shutout over Northeastern as she kicked aside 27
shots. Made another 19 saves in a 6-3 victory over Harvard. She is now
6-0-0 in league play and is tied for first in league goals against average
with a 1.17 mark.
