UNION LANDS ANOTHER PLAYER
Deerfield Academy hockey player Clark Jones has chosen to attend
Union College, making him the eighth player to commit to Union
for next season.
The Union admissions office confirmed that Jones has been accepted.
Jones, who is 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, will be used at center and
left wing.
Union head coach Stan Moore has recruited seven forwards for next
season to replenish a team left bare by graduation.
Deerfield Academy, located in Western Massachusetts, is a preparatory
school known for roducing outstanding hockey pplayers like current
Boston College sophomore Marty Reasoner.
Jones chose Union over Yale, to which he was also admitted.
