I need some help on this question.
Why was Tony Amonte included on this list? From what I remember,
Amonte did more to help BU lose than anything else. Before the
championship game against Northern Michigan, Amonte started off the
evening badly for BU by announcing that he was going to be playing in
his last game at BU. Then, at the end of regulation, Amonte was in on the
goalie by himself with little time left and he shot the puck into the goalie's
glove. This was all in his second year.
In his first year, BU lost to Colgate in the Final Four and I don't remember
him doing anything. Granted, he played mostly great during the regular
season but so have alot of other players that weren't included on this
list.
