losing to fairbanks by a final of 5-2
 
fairbanks got two power play goals in the first, opened the lead to
3-0 with a shorthander in the 2nd.  Air force closed it to 3-1 before
the close of the 2nd stanza and almost closed to within 1 as john
decker got a post with 4 seconds left.  Air force cut it to 3-2 early
in the third, but a nanook power play on another phantom call allowed
them to open the spread to 2 again.  Things were closeuntil some
penalties late in the game gave gave airbanks a 2 man advantage and
they opened the gap to 3, and then the teams skated out the remaining
2 minutes.
