The record for most consecutive shutout periods, 7 by goaltender Mike
Drake in January 1980 was apparently broken as freshman goaltender
Mike Kielb extended his string to 8, including the overtime period
against St. Olaf two weeks ago. We think he may have broken the
consecutive minutes of shutout record as well.

Time Description
17:00 3rd period of St. Olaf game
  3:17 Overtime against St. Olaf
120:00 2 games against Mankato State
 20:00 first period against Hamline
 18:53 2nd period against hamline
------
179:10 of shutout.

The power play goal by hamline narrowed the gap from 10-0 to 10-1
