reaches out and sweeps puck past goalie's left, low)
UML Kriss (slashing) 19:41
NU MacNair (slashing) 19:41
NU MacNair (hit after whistle) 19:41
Goalies UML - Craig Lindsay NU - Mike Veisor
Shots on goal as I heard them at the end of the 2nd period:
UML 14 15 (29 total) - probably led third period as well
NU 8 10 (18 total)
Referees - Fitzgerald, Cole Linesman - John Jones
Attendance - my estimate maybe 1500?? Or less??
HOCKEY-L was again well represented.
A tough, close, hard playoff game that Lowell gradually took control of,
this was a very entertaining game. Lowell had numerous breakaways and
other chances that could have blown this game wide open if Veisor had
not been strong in the Northeastern net. Lowell carried most of the play
in the last half of the game, but NU had their chances too. So far no
HE favorite has won a playoff game. Look out BU and Maine!
