   What academic concern is raised?
 
   I consider this a slander of the reputation of the University of
   Maine and suggest you apologize via the HOCKEY-L list.
 
   My article to HOCKEY-L was quite specific and clear that the *NCAA*
   provides for Olympic athletes returning to play at their school, even
   if they take NO classes.  The NCAA and Maine treat participation in
   the Olympics an honour for the athlete, school, and country.
 
   Maybe you don't believe the policy is a good one or maybe you don't
   believe the source to be reliable, but that doesn't give you the
   right slander Maine with "obvious that in this affair academic
   concerns are secondary to hockey concerns".
