The news from the hockey office is that the teams arriving at the airport
this morning and afternoon are getting a police escort to their hotel in
downtown St Paul. ;-)  St Patrick's Day celebrations and the parade in St
Paul make traveling in the downtown area near to impossible on March 17th!!
 
The Gopher team was met by a police escort on Interstate 94 at a specified
exit, to escort their bus in so they could hold a practice this morning also.
 
The Gophers are in the middle of exams and have not had the entire team to a
practice since last Thursday. Probably the first time this week that they will
ALL skate together as a team will be Friday afternoon at 2:00pm.
