Interesting.  I see that all four correspondents presume that a western
team will be seeded as #6 East.  One goes so far as to project western
teams getting the #5 and #6 East seeds, but that seems unlikely.  Looking
at TCHCR, RPICH, and the various polls, it does seem credible that seven
western teams could make the tournament.
