NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI–The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s hockey team scored three times in the second period en route to a 6-1 victory over host Johnson & Wales in an Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast hockey game at the Rhode Island Sports Center Saturday night.

Junior forwards Tyler Vrolyk (Boylston, MA/New England Junior Falcons) and Paul Garabedian (Belmont, MA/Belmont HS) scored third period goals to account for the final score.
“It was a solid win,” said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach John Rolli. “If we can win Tuesday night at home, we can get the number one seed in the playoffs.”
