They do serve beer up in the balcony.  The beer and snacks they have
up there are free of charge, unless you want to count the $1,000
donation plus ticket price needed to get up there for each person.  (I
think that's what my fathers company paid to get those seats)  But,
that is the only place you can get a beer.
 
I miss the good old days with the pass-out slips.  Very appropriatly
named for some people I used to go with.  Sprinting to Station between
periods and slamming a few pitchers and then sprinting back before
they drop the puck.  Darn good exercise if you ask me!  :)
