Today's tribune has the same talk we have all heard.  "all teams at notre Dame
will be moving to the big east"
 
But finally in one paragraph at the end is the statement:
 
   "The Irish Hockey, fencing, lacrosse and womens
     golf teams will compete in other conferences or as
      independents because the Big East does not field teams
       in those sports."
