The annual (only one this year) Blue/White intra-squad game has been
changed from Saturday October 16 to Tuesday October 12 at 7pm.
This latest schedule from the Maine athletic department has the Team USA
game listed as "Saturday Oct 17", but I'm fairly sure that "Saturday" is
wrong and "17" is correct (the 17th is a Sunday). The HOCKEY-L archives
schedule, and previous correspondence from the department, tend to
confirm this.
In addition, the latest (Maine) schedule has additional times for some
"away" games: The Dec 3 & 4 games @NU are now listed as 7pm, as is the
Jan 15 @St. Lawrence. The Jan 14 game @Clarkson is listed as 7:30pm.
Classes start next week, can "Midnight Madness" be far behind?
cheers,
Wayne Smith

P.S. HOCKEY-L posting archives (all back articles since HOCKEY-L moved
----------------
to Maine) and data archives (many files of interest including team
-------------
schedules (Thanks MIKE MACHNIK!)) are available from
[log in to unmask] via mail. In the body of your mail to
LISTSERV enter
GET HOCKEY-L FILELIST
The "HOCKEY-L FILELIST" file will show you the names of all
available files. In addition, a "search" feature allows easy
full-text searches of the posting archives. "GET HOCKEY-L SEARCH"
for instructions on using the search facility.
Note: the HOCKEY-L archives are available via mail to LISTSERV,
*not* HOCKEY-L.
All this information is also available via GOPHER. If you have
GOPHER client software, have it burrow to MAINE.MAINE.EDU and then
follow the trail to "Miscellaneous Information", "LISTSERV
lists...", and finally to the "HOCKEY-L" menu.
Note to GOPHER users: We will be making some changes to our GOPHER
directory structures in the coming few days or weeks. If you have
"bookmarks" pointing to the HOCKEY-L GOPHER information, you may
need to discard and remake them. I'm sorry for the inconvenience
this may cause.
