I don't have the box score with me, and I don't think I'd type it in even if
I did (too depressing :-), but Maine did indeed beat UNH 9-0 last night in
Orono. As I mentioned before, UNH was without F Scott Morrow (fighting
suspension), D Jesse Cooper (ditto), F Greg Klym (injured knee), and D Jim
McGrath (death in the family). UNH was forced to play four (as opposed to
their regular two) freshman defensemen, including two who (as far as I
know) had never seen regular season ice time (Eric Royal was one of them, I'm
not sure of the other). The results were obvious. I believe UNH was outshot
39 to 10 (a far cry from last weekend). I don't think things will get much
better tonight. It's possible that McGrath could return, but I doubt it.
