I just pulled these stats out of the Minneapolis Strib...
 
The Gophers and Wildcats are 7-7-6 in their last 20 games.  Northern
has a 2-1 edge in playoff games since 1988, and the Gophers beat the Wildcats
in a Hall of Fame Game.  This leaves them 9-9-6 overall.
 
Only 5 of the last 26 games in the last 6 years have been settled by more
than 2 goals.
 
Tonight they are playing each other for 1st place in the WCHA.  What a
barn burner.  I can't wait.
 
(For those of you planning on attending, only single seats remain but
I'm sure you could get a pair outside before the game starts.  Remember,
there are no bad seats in the house.)
