I think my original closing expresses my sentiment, isn't that why you have an
NC$$?  Unfortunately I fear Wayne is correct, I can't think of any other NCAA
sport which has an all-star game during the season.  But I honestly think the
fact situation for hockey is different than for other sports.  On what grounds
does the NC$$ base its opposition?  It wouldn't interfere with classes and it
might serve to cut down on the proliferation of tournaments at the Xmas break
(if reducing the number of games played is an NC$$ goal.)  Are there any AD's
out there who might want to champion this proposal?
