I've been given some information (second hand) regarding a serious injury to an
 Elmira College player in their game at Plattsburgh over the weekend.  The play
er's name is McNamara (?) and he was blindsided by a Plattburgh player, landing
on his head.  My understanding is that he was carried out on a stretcher
unconscious.  This was apparently reported on the Elmira TV news yesterday. Can
 anyone out there verify this?  I'll try to get some info on this tonight.
