I received the following message the other day. I have no knowledge of any
Maine players who are hearing-impaired. However, the gentleman did specify
"sport" so I thought I'd post it here, and any who had any information to
pass on could do so.

Subject: Any deaf hockey players?
Hello friend:
I just surfed on your Web site and find it interesting. I
write sports for the Silent News, a national newspaper for the
deaf.
I am always looking for deaf athletes in your sport - are
there any? If so, could you share the information with me?
Thank you very much.
