Although not college hockey, at least one player from the game will be
playing next year, I will report the results of the Tier I Midget National
Championship Tournament held @ the Compuware Arena in Oak Park Michigan. The
Detroit Little Caesars team defeated the Mid-Massachusetts Outlaws by a score
of 4-3 in the first O.T. of an outstanding game played this evening. The same
two teams played in the round robin portion of the tournament Saturday
morning with no winner as that game finished in a 3-3 tie. Little Caesars
defeated a good Buffalo team(Reasoner,I think, from Deerfield participated)
7-1 in the semi-finals while Mass. went into several overtimes to defeat a
team from Anchorage in their semi's.
