Some of the differences in stats for Petrie and Clarke can
be attributed to who they've played against.

For example:
Clarke: Notre Dame twice, UIC
Petrie: MSU twice, Michigan, WMU twice

Yes, Will Clarke is off to a great start. But Bob Petrie has
had to face the tougher opponents. Bob was particularly outstanding
in the games vs. WMU, which are the most important wins so far.

Also, the defense tends to fall asleep more often with Bob in goal. I suspect
they expect him to make the really tough saves to cover up for them.

The two have split time pretty evenly to date. I suspect it will continue,
despite the large statistical differences. The numbers don't tell the
entire story.

I imagine Will will start Friday vs. MSU, since Bob is 0-2 against the
Greenies this year, and he had that bad outing at Ferris.
