BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- After averaging 3.92 goals per game last
season (149 goals in 38 games), Bowling Green's offense is averaging nearly
seven goals per game (6.86) this year.  The Falcons scoring has been balanced
with 18 players having a point and six skaters are in double-digits.
 
FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior Tim Christian scored his 50th career goal in
Friday's win over Michigan.  His 50 goals ties him for 15th place on the
Bulldogs all-time list with current UIC assistant coach Tom Rudrud (1979-83)
and Ed Turner (1976-80).
 
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- Freshman netminder Adam Lord, in his first
collegiate start on Saturday, made 44 saves in the 2-2 (overtime) tie against
Michigan State.  He stopped 23 Spartan shots in the second period.  In two
appearances this year, he has a 2.26 goals-against average.
 
LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- The Laker senior class has accounted for five
goals and 11 assists in four games this season with four of the five senior
skaters ranked among the top six LSSU scorers.  Junior defenseman Keith
Aldridge has two goals and three assists for five points with a plus/minus
rating of +7 (second highest among all CCHA skaters behind Bowling Green
blueliner Chad Ackerman's +9).
 
MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Senior goaltender Chuck Thuss who had not see any game
action until this season recorded the victory in his first collegiate start on
Saturday.  He made 26 saves on 28 Ohio State shots.  He relieved Kevin
Deschambeault earlier in the season at Bowling Green.
 
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- Saturday's home game against Lake Superior will be
aired on a same- day tape-delay basis by PASS Sports at 10:00 p.m.  Over the
last eight games (dating back to last season), Wolverine penalty killers have
been successful on 39 of 43 penalty kills for a 90.7 % efficiency.
 
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- In 13 career games vs. Illinois @ Chicago, senior
Rem Murray has scored 10 goals and added 15 assists for 25 points.  Murray had
an assist on Friday and a goal on Saturday to extend his point-streak to six-
games dating back to last season.
 
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- The sophomore and junior classes have been the most
productive for coach Ric Schafer.  Of Notre Dame's 25 goals and 62 points this
season, sophomores have scored 11 goals and 20 points, while the juniors have
seven goals and 30 points.
 
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- Three of the five shorthanded goals allowed by the
Buckeyes have been into an empty-net.  Sophomore winger Steve Brent and senior
left wing Adam Smith have been named co- captains for Ohio State.
 
WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- The Broncos have outshot their opponents by a
189-110 margin through their first five games for an average of 37.8 to 22.0.
Senior netminder Brian Renfrew has played all but 16 minutes this year
recording a 3.17 goals-against average and a .854 saves percentage.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- Eleven players have scored goals for the
Nanooks, who have 18 lamp-lighters in five games.  Sophomore Pat Williams leads
with three markers, while five players have two goals apiece:  Sophomore Cody
Bowtell, seniors Kirk Patton and Corey Spring, junior Fred Scott and freshman
Sean Fraser.
 
CCHA LEAGUE NUMBERS -- Through the first 15 conference games, 116 goals have
been scored for an average of 7.73 per game.  League power play units have been
successful on 44 of 185 opportunities for a 23.8% efficiency, but they have
allowed seven shorthanded goals.
 
CCHA - DID YOU KNOW? -- Eleven former CCHA players participated in the 1994
Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway:  BGSU - Pierrick Maia (France), Greg Parks
(Canada), Brian Stankiewicz (Austria); LSSU - Mark Astley (Canada), Brian
Rolston (USA); Miami - Brian Savage (Canada); Michigan - David Harlock
(Canada), David Roberts (USA); MSU - Geir Hoff (Norway), Dwayne Norris
(Canada); NMU - Bruno Campese (Italy).  Team Canada won the Silver Medal for
the second straight Olympics.
