I probably shouldn't get involved in this, but this kind of parochialism is
repugnant to me. You sound like an isolationist, "America for Americans,"
right-wing *****. This is the kind of attitude that will ensure America a
follower's role in the burgeoning global economy and new international
unification of the world. You think those foreign students going back to
their home country don't do Americans any good? How about good will? If you
want to disseminate American ideals, this is the best way to do it. To
suggest that one person is more or less deserving of an athletic scholarship
because of the presense of a political boundary line is very narrow minded.
