Here's what it means. If there's just a number, like 2 or 0,
that's the number of points a team needs to finish above another team.
If there's a '+' or '-', it means the team with the '+' in its row
beats the team with the '-' in the first tie breaker, head-to-head.
However, if there is a third (or more) team in the tie, the tie
breaker might go the other way. If it is determined that it's not
possible for extra teams to change the outcome of the tie breaker, the
'+' and '-' can be removed. I've done this for the RPI/Brown,
RPI/Colgate and SLU/Union tiebreakers because they were easy. I may
not get to the others, with all the other things on my plate. Anyone?
If there's a '.' after a number, it means that the
head-to-head tie breaker is unresolved. Again, given an unlimited
amount of time I'd work out those tie breakers, and +/- would mean a
two-way tiebreaker is settled but not three or more, while '.' would
mean the tiebreaker is definitely unresolved.
Major bragging rights for the first person to resolve the
possible six-way tie (which would cover fourth through eighth
places!).
These tables will be updated on the web at

once the machine is back up.
