Last week I saw stories from two Knight-Ridder newspapers on Title IX.
Apparently several newspapers in the K-R chain did simultaneous stories about
the current effects, etc.
I noted 2 college hockey-related items.
The story in the Philadelphia Inquirer said that Villanova's men's team
was being reduced to club status next year.
The story in the Detroit paper said Western Michigan indicated it might
add women's hockey in the next few years.
Does anybody in those areas have any specific knowledge?
