I saw Parker on Channel 4 in Boston's Sports Final a few weeks back and
Bob Lobel asked him bluntly about the issue. While Parker said that any
college hockey coach would be a fool not to listen to an orginazion like the
Bruins, be gave no indications as to whether he would accept the job if
and when it was offered to him. Parker's name always arises when the
Bruins fire their coach (Kasper would be the sixth axeing in 11 years
too), but he hasn't left Comm. Ave. for Causeway Street yet.
