After Friday's game, you had to figure things would either be very boring
or very busy ... well, it wasn't boring. While I didn't get to see the
very start (I mean, gosh, it was only warm-ups), Bemidji evidently took a
liking to one of the Pointers and assisted him onto their bench (to become
an honorary BSU Beaver, no doubt ;-)) There was an additional scuffle, but
that one took place on the ice. Ten minutes later, the first period got
started ... and only took 50 minutes to play.
Discounting the penalties, the game itself was excellent ... lots of hard
skating, hard hitting.
