I have no idea what the longest streak is, but I can tell you about the
Gophers.
Using overall records (including playoff games) from my Gopher yearbook, it
looks like the Gophers have had at least 20 wins every season since 1976-77
(17-22-3)
In 1981-82 they were 22-12-2, 19-11-2 in regular-season.
In 1992-93 they were 22-12-8, 17-11-8 in regular-season.*
in 1993-94 they were 25-14-5, 19-12-5 in regular-season.
* The 8 ties that season included 4 consecutive OT games, 3 consecutive of
which were ties. <Insert
working-overtime/kissing-your-sister/ties-for-Christmas joke here.>
