Ask and ye shall receive. From the Jan 27-28, 1989 Michigan Tech game
program (where do I get this stuff), I paraphrase:

Although no such official records are kept, MTU's Damian Rhodes is believed
to be the first college netminder ever to score a goal. On Jan 21,1989,
in a 5-2 win over Colorado College, CC's net was empty and after Rhodes
deflected a shot wide, CC's Tim Budy tried to pass the puck back to the
point and it went all the way down the ice into CC's empty net. Rhodes
was the last MTU player to touch the puck and was credited with the goal at
19:51 - an empty net power play goal. Rhodes also had been credited with
an assist in the game and his 56 saves the night before helped him
earn WCHA Player of the Week honors for that week.

I know of no college goalie who actually shot the puck into the net as
Hextall did in that game against Boston a few years ago.
