Hi all,

Due to the forecast of bad weather and the possibility of an extended power
outage at the University of Maine, we are shutting down all of our systems
at 4:30 PM today. Although our systems are hooked up to batteries, the
batteries will not last through an extended power outage, so we are
shutting the systems down to avoid having the computers crash and
potentially lose some data. Although I have not heard anything official,
based on the weather forecast I assume that tomorrow will be a snow day. I
will bring everything back online when I return to the office on Wednesday.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
