Libraries Lead with Digital Skills/Grow with Google Grants
This grant opportunity deadline has been extended to January 2, 2020 and PLA and Google are looking for applications focused on:
Assisting Job Seekers to Find or Prepare for Work.
Empowering Small Businesses to Grow Online
While MSL staff was at training we saw that some training leads to certifications. We think this would be a great for a grant - to offer the training and then have funds available for those participants that complete training to pay for certification tests.
Please contact Lisa Shaw, Jared Leadbetter or Janet McKenney if you would like more information about the grants or would like help with an application, or to brainstorm grant ideas.
There will be eight (8) $1000 grants available for Maine public libraries. Libraries that receive the $1000 grant will be eligible for an additional $3000 Spotlight grant. For more information and a grant application:
