TO just give a little more info on the previous articles posted about this,
the Knick in Albany received the bid, but the West regionals are not yet
determined. A few interesting notes:
 
1) This is to be hosted by RPI, and not a joint RPI-Union effort.
   Apparently the NCAA asked that only RPI hosted it and that Union not be
   included in the hosting comittee, although the NCAA has encouraged that
   Union volunteer assisstance. Anybody know why the NCAA would not want
   Union to be a co-host?
 
2) The 1995 Regionals were also announced. The East is in Worcester and the
   West in Madison.
 
3) This came as a total shock to all of us at RPI, except for Ducatte the
   AD.  None of us at the station, nor the SID knew about this at all, although
   it seems that the Knick knew well in advance.
