I've been to Grand Forks numerous times and I'm pretty sure you didn't
need to add the phrase "the first weekend of October." :-)

UND is at a point right now where they could probably schedule the
North Dakota State College of Science and still sell out.

Of course, every school's situation is different. The situation
David's describing is going to come up more at a BCS school, where
hockey is already behind football and basketball in the pecking order,
or in a big market, where college hockey is fighting with everything
else for attention.

That being said, if football and basketball scheduling are any
indication, the bigger question actually comes on the other end. Big
schools are usually willing to bring anybody in (and small schools are
usually willing to take the cash that comes with it), but the question
may become how willing are they going to be to travel to smaller,
out-of-the-way schools, where the guarantee might not be there.
