In the Friday afternoon game of the Q-Cup at the Northford Ice Pavilion,
Conn., Air Force came from behind with three unanswered goals late in the
second and the third to beat Bentley 4-2. Air Force outshot Bentley 51-31.
Bentley racked up 22 minutes in penalties, but Air Force went 0-9 on the
power play. In the nightcap, Qunnipiac came from behind with a goal in the
third and another 1:25 into OT to beat American International 3-2.
Quinnipiac outshot American International 42-13. Quinnipiac goes for its
sixth Q-Cup title on Saturday evening; Bentley and American International
play for third place on Saturday afternoon.
