In a great hockey game featuring lots of good skating and passing Canada
and Finland tied 2-2. This creates a three way tie between Canada,
Russia, and Finland in thier group. The much anticipated (at least on
this side of the border) confrontation between Canada and Russia happens
tomorrow.

Canada took the lead twice on goals by Jamie Lundmark and Brad Boyes were
answered by Finland's Rita, and Tony Samelainen.

Finland stated and ended strong with Canada's best play in the second
period. Both sides will look back on some scoring opportunities foiled by
great goaltending.

In other action the US beat Slovakia 7-2.
