The Eagles outskate and outplay the Terriers with a 2-to-1
advanatage on shots and scoring opportunities. Larocque
totally stymies the Eagle offense and Terrier freshman
Pandolfo scores one early and one late in empty net.
Lowell 6, Merrimack 5
Warriors chase Fankhouser with 4 first period goals but
Riverhawks chip away and use three goal third period to
escape with win. Cappelletti gets game-winner on power-play.
Providence 4, Maine 2
Friars escape with rare win at Alfond as Black Bears woes
continue. Michaud looks uncharacteristically bad as Maine
outplays Providence but loses close one. Providence goes
3-for-6 on power-play to make difference.
***** Saturday *****
B.C. 6, B.U. 2
Once again Larocque carriers the Terriers deep into the
second period with B.U. trailing the Eagles 2-1 before the
Eagles score a late second period goal. Eagles score three
more in the third to run away with the victory.
UNH 3, Northeastern 0
Matile adds to the league career record for shutouts as
Wildcats contain pesky Huskie attack.
Maine 7, Providence 0
Black Bears finally return to form and completely dismantle
the Friars. Michaud watches from the bench as Morrison
records his first shutout. Maine kills all 9 penalties
and goes 4-for-7 on their power-play.
Lowell 7, Merrimack 5
Riverhawks take comanding 6-2 lead with five second period
goals and hold off Warrior comeback. After Warriors make
it 6-5 with five minutes to go, they go on the power-play
only to see Lowell score short-handed tally for 7-5 win.

Harvard 3, B.U. 1
Crimson capitalize on Terriers being spent from emotional
weekend series with B.C.
Amherst 1, Vermont 0
Helanen makes 38 saves as Vermont outshoots the Minuteman
38-22 but Blanchard scores short-handed tally for win.
Northeastern 7, Cornell 3
Huskies continue to play good hockey and Cornell's defense
collapses before backup Underhill makes a great impression.
