In all fairness to the coach Rick Comley, his comments were made in the
context of a question posed by the reporter which asked if coach Jeff Sauer
had good reasons to expect Wisconsin to be included in the NCAA finals EVEN
if the Badgers lost the series with the Wildcats.  Comley simply stated that
the selection criteria are no secret to coahes, as they had been debated and
refined over the years by all everybody concerned.  Assuming no big upsets
in the other conferences, Wisconsin had a good case.  I thought that
Comley's reply overall was balanced, even tempered, objective, and rather
well considered.
