The Boston Globe reports today that RPI is seriously considering a move from
ECAC to the much superior Hockey East.  That would put 10 teams in HE.
The RPI addition would be a good one because (a) it would take us out of
just New England and expand interest in the conference in new areas; (b) make
post-season a lot easier when UMass joins; and (c) give us a team that we can
all chant "nerds" too.  The ECAC has Harvard and Yale for this purpose already.
