The hotel problem does exist at Lake Placid - I know that
many of the "bigger name" hotels were booked several months
ago, when I called. There is an International PEE WEE tournament
in town - ALSO - the same weekend !!! IMHO:
1. Lake Placid is a great place for any college tournament.
It has a great "atmosphere" for hockey. It's unfortunate
that a major youth hockey tournament will compete for
hotel space - but consider the possible "young fans" that
might get a chance to see a college game.

2. Supposedly, the ECAC has reserved blocks of rooms for TEAMS
and FANS, PARENTS, etc. I hope they have. I called
Mr. Don Cronin , ECAC Coordinator at 1-800-462-6236
and he had a lot of info.... on rooms, etc.

ALSO.......

3. The NC$$ D-II championship between Mercyhurst and
Bemidji St. is this weekend - 3/19 and 3/20.
   in Minnesota.

To All - please keep those scores and summaries coming
in this weekend - were up against b-ball - for some
of us your news.. is the only news.... thanks.
