Yesterday one of the local rags (not the T-U) mentioned that ECAC teams were
encountering difficulty in securing adequate lodging for their teams and fans
for the finals in Lake Placid.  I acknowledge that Lake Placid has previously
hosted the NC$$'s not to mention the Olympics, but I still think its a poor
venue for hockey.  The article also postulated that this might be the last year
for Lake Placid, with the ECAC's being shifted to the Knick in Albany (lots of
open dates next year--like November through May.)  Has anyone out on the list
heard anything about this?
 
Also when does the NC$$ announce the sites for next year's regionals (or did I
miss it somewhere?)
