I beleive that the rink you saw Daryl, was the St. Paul Civic Center.  It has
the glass going all the way down to the ice.  It is indeed a very interesting
place to watch a hockey game.  This is the only rink of that type that I know
of.  As least it's the only one I've ever seen.
