Brief notes: Damien Holland was in goal for UIC, Eric Kruse started for MSU
and was replaced by Mike Gilmore at the start of the third period. With 5:03
to play, Ron Mason had 4 on 4 for the next 1:41 and pulled the goalie to try
to overcome MSU's 2 goal deficit. The Flames survived the onslaught and the
brief ensuing power play (Gilmore returned at the start of the power play).
Rick Judson sealed the verdict with an empty net goal.

Rick Judson now has 155 points as a Flame, and moves into second place on the
all-time scoring list, passing Sheldon Gorski.

BRian Smolinski scored 5 goals on the weekend, including a hat trick in
Friday's 6-3 MSU win.
