Sean MacDonald scored a goal 0:18 seconds into overtime, capping a strong
Northeastern comeback and giving the Huskies a 5-4 win in front of 6,545 on
the campus at Boston College.
 
B.C. led 3-0 in the first and 4-2 early in the third but the Huskies kept
battling, led by Graig Mischler who had a goal and three assists. B.C took
the 4-2 lead after a pretty power-play goal by Jeff Farkas (his third in
HockeyEast, fourth power-play goal over all and eighth goal of the young
season.)
 
Huskies jumped right back in it with a power-play tally of their own at
4:46. Bobby Davis finished off some strong pressure on the doorstep of Eagle
goalie Scott Clemenson, grabbing a rebound at the left side of the crease
and sliding it home. Roger Holeczy ("Holecki") forced overtime by tying it
up for the Huskies at the 17:29 mark while skating 4-on-4.
 
B.C. was #1 in the USA Today poll and #2 in the USCHO poll.
