        >Question... would the UNH fans be as faithful if they had
Lowell's record
        >for the last 5 years or so? (honest question, I'm curious)

To be honest I couldn't even guess. I would say that attendance
would drop off like every other team that has a bad record but two years
ago when they only won 12-13 games I think they still averaged over
4,500 fans a night.

My take on the crowd was that most people were there to see the
new building and not the team specifically. There was a portion of the
crowd that I assume had followed the team from Tully and they were very
vocal. I didn't hear or see a lot of knowledgeable fans and there were
a lot of people moving around and talking during the play. I am still
curious to see if Lowell fans will fill the building up during the
regular season after the 'newness' of the building wears off. I have
been to a lot of games at Tully as a visiting fan and I have never even
seen that building sold-out.

Overall it is a nice building, the only small things that I
disliked were that the seats were small and I dislike the dark color of
the ceiling. I think that it makes the building a lot darker. I would
like to come back when all the details are in place (scoreboard, vending
areas).
