St. Lawrence defeats Clarkson, 2-1 in Postdam.  This was the second of 2 non-conference games of the weekend.

The second period had a bit of a brawl.  The camera was immediately moved to center ice so I could not see how serious it was.  It started with Brock McBride interfering with the goaltender but the SLU announcers felt that he was pushed into the goaltender.  Apparently fists and equipment flew for a little bit.  The penalty boxes were then filled to capacity.  All skaters moved from the ice to the box.  SLU already had a penalty but their 4 skaters went to the box.  Alll 5 Clarkson skaters went to the box.  McBride took 2 2 minute penalties and a 10 minute misconduct.  Another Saints player skated to the box to cover the additional penalty.  One of the Clarkson players also took a 10 misconduct.  It has been a very long time since I have seen such full penalty boxes.  It took me back to those SLU -CCT games in the 70's when I was at school.  

I am very happy that the game was shown on the B2 network.  I was afraid that it wouldn't be since it was on ESPN2. It was great to watch this weekend 2 games.
